Extra information about Solarsicom.

If you plan to use any of my content or media for your own personal or commercial use, it's necassary you provide proper credit to my work.

What is a "Solarsicom"?

If you want to make sense of the name, break it down: Solar's-iCom: Solar's Internet Communication, heh.

Other than that, I'd also like to give some credits to the inspiration for certain design elements on Solarsicom here.

  • ► Font
  • Below is information on all the fonts used on this website:

    1. Helvetica Neue LT Pro 45 Light
    2. Matisse Pro EB
    3. TeXGyre Heros Condensed

The font styles are inspired by Evangelion. Certain font stylings such as the font transform values were taken from the official Evangelion website as well.

Here's the code I used to get the title card effects:

    Main Title

    Main title's smaller variant.

NOTE: To be used with the main title class, for example "class = 'main-title small', with small being the following:

    Episode number

    Episode name

But you're gonna need a webfont converter to use the fonts, the font links aren't webfonts, so you'll need to use something like FontSpace's webfont generator (which worked for me) to generate and use the files (likely in .otf). You'll also need a stylesheet to define those fonts to use them on your webpage. For example:

If you follow all these steps properly, you can get something like this below:
(This region is editable, modify the text as you want)

Create your own Evangelion title card:

    NEON

    GENESIS

    EVANGELION

    FINALE:

    Take care of yourself.

NOTE: The show doesn't use consistent font styles, sometimes having different fonts, stretches and sizes. The style I've settled on is neutral, so it maintains readability and aesthetics without losing the Evangelion charm.
